The bout comes on at the Tough Fight Gym in Moscow, Russia and for Commey whose record has become 24 fights, one defeat and 22 knock outs, this is another opportunity given to him by the IBF and though it is very tough, he has to make it and be counted among the best in the world.
In that fight, it was evident that the fans of Easter cheered him on throughout the 12 rounds and it seemed Commey had no fan despite putting up a great show. The few Ghanaians could not match the American home fans who supported their boxer even when he was under a barrage of punches.
Knowing very well that support plays a part in sports, Team Commey have asked Ghanaians who can afford to make the trip with them to go to Moscow for the fight mission on December 2.
Coach Carl Lokko who recently took Duke Micah to London to win the Commonwealth Bantamweight title is just looking forward for a win for Commey to end the year with smiles.
The loss to Easter really affected Team Commey’s programmes, but they had to be content with this opportunity which Commey has to win and go for a rematch with Easter Jr.
Commey wants to become world boxing champion so he is focused on gaining his top ranking position and believes he will make it in the Tough Fight Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Friends of Boxing Ghana wish him victory.
