Amajimbos defeated Botswana 2-0 and 4-0 on Thursday (3 July) and Sunday (6 July) respectively.
The matches are part of the squad’s preparations for first leg of the 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier against Tanzania scheduled for Friday, 18 July 2014 in Dar es Salaam.
Amajimbos captain Nelson Maluleka led from the front in Sunday’s encounter, scoring two goals to give his side victory. Thendo Mukumela and Sibongakonke Mbatha scored the other two goals.

“We need to go into a match with a winning mentality. All second halfs were much better and players were able to play football the way they have done at training,” said head coach Molefi Ntseki.
Amajimbos will now take on Lesotho on Thursday, 10 July and Sunday, 13 July.
“We have to work very hard from here going forward. This is a project that we are working on, and the first leg is out of the way. But we must also understand that along the way there will be challenges and if we work as a team and support each other, we will overcome those challenges. So when we get to Lesotho we need to do even better and come out of the two countries (Botswana and Lesotho) with a better experience that will help us face Tanzania – that is the whole idea of playing these four matches before heading to our qualifier,” added Ntseki.
The squad will have their first training session on Tuesday in Lesotho.
