Team Nigeria with Blessing running the lead off leg in the 4 X 200 meters relay were the winners on Saturday night (May 2nd 2015) in the Bahamas, holding off all challengers including Jamaica to snag the Gold Medal for the event. The defending champion of the relay event; the USA botched the last baton exchange between Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh colliding and falling onto the track surface to give way to the newly crowned queen of the event to win the Gold.

Blessing Okagbare the best Lady sprinter for Nigeria and the African Continent and one of the best in the world will now head to compete in the 100 meters in a head to head competition against some of the best big names out there at the Jamaica International Invitational Track & Field Meet slated to take place on May 9th 2015 in Kingston Jamaica.
