Capt (rtd) Andy Sam, Ghana Country Director of Aspire Football Dream who disclosed the news to yours truly in an exclusive interview said he felt it as a contribution to his nation and humanity for the Black Maidens to train at the first class ultra-modern facility, as well as an opportunity to acclimatize with the weather in the Middle East.
“The facility in Doha is one of the best in the world and training there should motivate the girls to come out with good results at the World Championship in Jordan” he stated.
The Founder / President of the Barbarossa Foundation noted that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Ministry of Youth and Sports must bury their differences and egoism and come together in finding solutions for the sporting problems of the nation.
He also urged the GFA to show appreciation when they are offered assistance or support.
