Players of Kenya’s national team, Harambee Stars are sets to bag US$ 29,000 (3 million Kenya shilling) winning bonus if they beat Sierra Leone in Saturday’s 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier first leg match in Freetown.
The Football Kenya Federation and its partners SportPesa have both made the announcement of the said bonus and Ronald Karauri, SportPesa chief made the revelation in a luncheon that was hosted on Wednesday.
The Zesco United striker was reportedly injured in Tuesday’s training session while the Football Kenya Federation confirmed that both Omollo and Aboud Omar have been ruled out of the qualifier due to injuries sustained while playing for their respective clubs.
Erick Johanna, Ayub Timbe, Masoud Juma and Samuel Onyango have all been included in the travelling squad.
Sierra Leone and Kenya will clash on Saturday in the opening Group F 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Freetown at the Siaka Steven Stadium.
