
Newly promoted Cyprus first division club, Aris Limassol have announced the signing of Sierra Leone international striker, Mustapha ‘Haji’ Bangura on an 18-month deal.
The former AEK Larnaca and Apollon Limassol forward is one of twelve signings the club have already made this summer as they continue their drive to strengthen their squad ahead of the Cyprus top tier league season.
Bangura, Steve Borg, Mali midfielder Souleymane Keita, Apollon youngster Kyriakos Panagi, OFI’s Andreas Labropoulos, Valentinos Pastelis, Minas Antoniou Amine Meftah were all signed from the Cyprus second division league.
Other signing of the club include; French striker Goran Jerkovic, former Polish international Roger Guerreiro, former Slovakian international keeper Marian Kello while Silvio Gonzalez and Douglas also return to the club.
The 25-year-old is the second Sierra Leonean player to sign for Aris Limassol after Gibrilla Julius Woobay who joined them on a season loan from Romanian side Universita Craiova.
The following season, Woobay signed a year deal with the club before leaving for Egyptian side, Al Masry.
