Lausanne, 28 September 2017 – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has issued its decision in the arbitration procedure between the Jersey Football Association (JFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) relating to the UEFA Executive Committee’s decision of 1 September 2016 to reject JFA’s application for UEFA membership. The CAS Panel has 1) set aside the UEFA EC Decision and ordered that JFA’s application be forwarded to the UEFA Congress for consideration and 2) dismissed JFA’s request to “take all necessary measures to admit the JFA as a full member of UEFA without delay”.

MIES (FIBA Hall of Fame) - Considered by many to be the greatest international team of all time, the Dream Team - the 1992 USA Olympic basketball team - is being honored with induction to the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2017.
The Dream Team is being enshrined into the Hall of Fame alongside former players Shaquille O'Neal (USA), Toni Kukoc (Croatia), Mickey Berkowitz (Israel), Pero Cameron (New Zealand), Razija Mujanovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Valdis Valters (Latvia) as well as coaching great Dusan Ivkovic (Serbia). They were selected from a list of more than 150 candidates.
Cricket South Africa President, Chris Nenzani, confirmed that CSA and Chief Executive, Haroon Lorgat, have mutually agreed to part ways with immediate effect.

Sierra Leone’s 2016 Rio Olympic Games sprinting representative, Ishmael Dudu Kamara is keen to defend his National championship title when the rejuvenated Sierra Leone Athletics Association tournament gets underway today September 28th at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.
