
The 17-year-old midfielder who will this month turn 18 is set to travel to Sweden to undergo a test with possible consideration of securing a deal with the Swedish outfit.
Confirming the youngsters trial, the club sporting director Bjorn Wesström told Matchdax that the club may recruit the midfielder from FC Kallon and it is clear that he will undergo a test with them.
Meanwhile, the player’s international agent, Patrick Mork has clarified why a deal could not be struck now for the midfielder if his trials turns out to be successful.
Mork said: “He will turn 18 in August. I think there would be nothing now with the club as the transfer window has closed.”
The Swedish agent who further describes the Sierra Leone prodigy as a Di Maria type of player admitted that he will have more time for the trials due to his lack of effective football in Sierra Leone because of the Ebola tragedy in the country.
“He will definitely have a longer run with AIK partly because football in Sierra Leone is less developed than for example Ghana and he almost got one year ruined because of the Ebola tragedy so he needs a longer run,” Mork said.
