The former Udinese man also made history with Ghana’s U20 team by scoring the winning penalty which saw them clinch the FIFA U20 World Cup for the first time in 2009.
He scored 11 goals in 78 appearances for the Black Stars within a space of 12 years and also featured at four Africa Cup of Nations appearances as well as two FIFA World Cups.
