Based in Johannesburg, Fast & Furious have 14 branches around the country that specialise in customised logistic solutions to anywhere in the nation as well as neighbouring states.
Fast & Furious is looking to create awareness of the brand and capabilities as well as expose that to key decision-makers.
“We are more of a boutique and specialised logistics provider that creates customised solutions for our customers than a generic transport provider.
“We felt that the company’s mode of operation was a perfect fit for the requirements of a mountain bike race such as the Great Zuurberg Trek.
“The customised and personalised nature of this event is in keeping with our own ethos of not offering a mainstream commoditised service in the logistics sector.
“We see this as a long-term arrangement as the development of cycling, and especially mountain bike stage races in South Africa, has become phenomenal in terms of the reach to decision-makers in big business.
“This event fits nicely with our strategy of expanding our market presence to key individuals. Its nature gelled well with our own company values and culture.
“It gives them a unique perspective as to what is needed by the cyclists and how best to handle the logistical requirements.”
The three-day race takes place in the Addo area just outside Port Elizabeth from 3rd June 2016.
