Carthage in Tunisia organised the 2014 edition of the African Women's Club Championship
Cairo, Egypt, February 24, 2016 – The African Volleyball Confederation has confirmed that Tunisia will replace Kenya as the organisers of the 2016 African Women’s Club Championship, after the latter withdrew from hosting the event.
Cairo, Egypt, February 24, 2016 – The African Volleyball Confederation has confirmed that Tunisia will replace Kenya as the organisers of the 2016 African Women’s Club Championship, after the latter withdrew from hosting the event.
The competition will be held from April 22 to 30 in the Tunisian capital, while the deadline for teams to register for the event has been fixed at March 20.
Kenya previously organised the African Women’s Club Championship in 2005, 2009, 2011 and 2012. Tunisia last organised the event in 2014.
