
President of Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Isha Johansen has reacted to an ugly incident on Monday which saw staff members of the Football Association (FA) beaten up by football officials and local youths in Pujehun, Southern region.
In a statement released by the FA’s Media department, Madam Johansen stated that she was shocked with the continuous physical abuse of her staff and she is ready to ensure that actions are taken against the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the release stated that SLFA officials; Vice president Brima Mazola Kamara, Ex Officio member - Alie Badara Tarawallie, Education Officer – Abdulraman Swarray and Head of Competitions – Sorie Ibrahim Sesay were returning to Freetown from Pujehun district after their regularization drive when the incident occurred.
The matter has been officially reported to the Bo Police station, where medical forms were issued for further medical examinations of the victims.
