With only two weeks to play this season, a host of MLS clubs can secure their place above the red line an into the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs this week. The final four Eastern Conference playoff berths can be secured by Columbus Crew SC, New England Revolution, Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact if results go their way. In the Western Conference, Seattle Sounders FC will be able to secure a playoff berth with a win against Houston Dynamo, while Sporting KC would advance to the playoffs with a win against the San Jose Earthquakes. Two clubs have the possibility of taking the top spots in their respective conferences with the New York Red Bulls needing just a win or tie and FC Dallas requiring a win and friendly results in San Jose and LA. Also at stake for the two clubs are 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League berths, which they will both acquire if they end up winning the East and West (Supporters’ Shield winner and opposing conference winner qualify).
