After three weeks of trials, Denmark Superliga side, Randers FC has confirmed they will not be offering Sierra Leonean quartet any contract due to lack of tactical ability.
The four players; Christian Moses, Kwame Quee, Mohamed Kamara and Yeami Dunia had a three weeks trials with the Danish outfit but it was reported that they were unable to convince the club’s sports management.
We must reinforce the squad with that quality,” the Rander FC Sports Manager Ole Nielsen was quoted according to Randers Amtsavis.
However, the quartets were given another opportunity as they were shipped out to the Danish first division club FC Roskilde in a bid to revive their hopes of a future in Danish football.
Nielsen admitted that they as a club will continue to follow their progress with FC Roskilde. The club was founded in 2004 as a merger between Roskilde Boldklub 1906, Svogerslev Boldklub and Himmelev-Veddelev Boldklub.
In the 2013/2014 season, while playing in Division 2 (East), FC Roskilde set a new Danish league record for the number of consecutive league wins, with 20 wins in a row. The run began with a 2-0 home win against BSV on 22nd September 2013 and ended with a 3-1 away win against Nordvest FC on 1st June 2014. The run was ended on 9th June 2014 by a 3-1 home defeat to Nykøbing FC.
