Playoff Scenarios: Final four spots in the Audi 2015 MLS Playoffs up for grabs

With #DecisionDay nearly upon us, a host of MLS clubs will be looking to secure their ticket to the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs, while also jockeying for playoff seeding and a knockout round bye. A total of six clubs are vying for the final four available playoff spots. In the Eastern Conference, New England can clinch their berth into the playoffs with a win or tie against NYCFC or an Orlando City SC loss or tie against the Philadelphia Union. In order for Orlando City SC to clinch a playoff spot, they will have to beat the Union, have the Revolution lose to NYCFC and make up a goal differential of eight against the Revs.

In the Western Conference, Sporting KC can clinch a playoff berth with a win against the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday, or a win against LA Galaxy on Sunday. The Portland Timbers can clinch a postseason berth with a win or tie against the Colorado Rapids, while Seattle Sounders FC can book a playoff spot with a win against Real Salt Lake. In order for the San Jose Earthquakes to make the playoffs, they will have to defeat FC Dallas and hope a myriad of results fall in their favor.
