Phil Waugh and Manu Contepomi give their post-match thoughts after Australia defeated Argentina in another thrilling semi-final:

“I think Australia deserved their win, they were very clinical when they reached the twenty-two they scored and they were very good at the breakdown. Argentina did well but there were a few mistakes in the first half and they couldn’t score at the end of the first half (after that) I think that was game over.”

“The best two teams in the world are playing against each other. To have the All Blacks against the Wallabies in a World Cup final for the first time ever is going to be an enormous final.”
And Waugh think the forward line will determine the outcome next weekend:
“Whoever wins the scrum is going to set the team up for the win, it’s going to be a huge contest there and of course the breakdown, whoever wins that clash will open it up for the backs and both teams have great attacking backlines.”
