LONDON (July 15, 2015) – Experts in the area of sports fan engagement will join Drew Barrand, Marketing Director of The Football League, and Stephen Brown, Managing Director of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, at the first Premier Sports Network event.

Run by Eleven Sports & Entertainment, the Premier Sports Network is a series of invite-only, one-day conferences for senior sports executives. The first Premier Sports Network event, around the topic of Fan Engagement, will take place at The Hospital Club, the private members venue in Central London, on July 24.

Adam Pearson, Events and Partnerships Manager at Lancashire County Cricket Club, will give a keynote presentation on Friday Night Live, the project launched in 2014 to take cricket to young professionals. In addition Daniel Ayers (Lead Consultant, Seven League), Mark Bradley (Director, The Fan Experience Company) and Jon Burkhart (Content Marketing Consultant) will take part in an interactive panel discussion and will reflect on which organisations are leading the way in bringing sport closer to the fans, how they are achieving it and what they are measuring success by.

“Adam, Daniel, Mark and Jon are all thought-leaders and we are looking forward to hearing how they believe sports organisations can take their fan engagement strategies to the next level. Alongside Drew Barrand and Stephen Brown, they will bring an insight that we hope will make the first Premier Sports Network event one that can’t be missed,” said Spencer Hidge, Executive Director at Eleven Sports & Entertainment.

The Football League’s Barrand will give a keynote presentation on the organisation’s Stand Up & Be Counted campaign, which launched in June to engage the global fanbase of The Football League’s 72 clubs, while Brown will discuss the work around the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour, which is engaging fans at over 100 clubs, organisations and rugby festivals across the UK and Ireland.

Details of future Premier Sports Network events will be announced soon. For information of how to attend or sponsor the Premier Sports Network please call 0208 419 1100 or e-mail enquiries@eleven-entertainment.com.
