Host Angola emerged winners of an International Four Nation tournament, beating DR Congo 1-0 in the final on Saturday, 7 November 2015 in Luanda.
Primeiro de Agosto midfielder Luvumbo Lourenço Pedro ‘Bua’ scored the only goal on 58 minutes to hand the host the trophy in the tournament, part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Angola’s independence, which will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11 November 2015.
Both Angola and DR Congo have qualified to play in next year’s Orange African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda.
