The victory takes the Ugandans within sight of a place at the 1/8th round of the second-tier continental club championship.
However, the deadlock was broken two minutes later by new signing Mike Ndera who made a good connection off another Lwesibawa cross.
JKU goalie Muhammad Abdurrahman needed to be at his best to prevent Mike Sserumaga from doubling the lead at the half hour mark after a good effort.
Four minutes later, Sserumaga got his breakthrough netting direct from a corner to send the watching Blue fans into frenzy.
He had another effort tipped over the bar by the JKU goalkeeper before Nicholas Ssebwato made a brilliant save at the other end to deny Khamis Said Khamis on the stroke og half time.
Two minutes after the break, Kasumba got SC Villa’s third and his first since joining the Villa Park outfit heading home Ndera’s cross.
In the 62nd minute, Lwesibawa got on the score sheet with the hosts’ fourth. He controlled Isaac Muleme’s cross before sending a fierce shot that left the JKU goalie stranded.
The SC Villa bench made changes with Abel Eturude, AbdulKarim Kasule and Martin Kizza coming on for Sserumaga, Lwesibawa and Ambrose Kirya but there was no change to the score line.
Coach of the visitors Hamsini Malale was disappointed with the way this team defended and confessed that their chances of survival in the competition remain bleak.
His counterpart of SC Villa Ibrahim Kirya was very delighted with the performance and promised to seal the qualification away in Zanzibar next week.
“I’m grateful for the team and we are now planning for our next opponents because this has been a walk over and I believe in Zanzibar we are going to play the same way as today” observed Kirya.
