
FAM announced at the weekend that interim coach Ernest Mtawali, Eddingtone Ng'onamo, Gilbert Chirwa and Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan have made the list.
“At its Executive Committee meeting held on Saturday, 25 July 2015, the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has short listed four coaches to undergo interviews on Thursday, 30 July 2015,” FAM General Secretary, Suzgo Nyirenda said.
The meeting also resolved that the person who will place second in the recommended list number two will become the Assistant Coach.
The new coach is expected to be unveiled by Saturday, 1 August 2015 to replace Young Chimodzi who was sacked on 14 June 2015, following the Flames 2-1 loss to fellow southerners, the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a 2017 AFCON qualifier. Also in Group L are Swaziland and Guinea.
