
The course took place from Sunday, 1 November 2015 till Friday, 6 November 2015 and was attended by match officials who constitute the highest panel of Referees and Assistant Referees on the continent.
The participants, made up of experienced match officials were taken through the usual ‘YOYO and ARIET Fitness tests for Referees and Assistant Referees respectively, whilst theoretical topics included Severity of Offences, Handball, Illegal use of arm, Offside amongst others.
Lim Kee Chong (Mauritius), Neji Jouini (Tunisia), Boubaker Hannachi (Tunisia), Mohamed Houssein Ali (Djibouti) and Wierzbowski Maciej Artur (Poland) were the Instructors for the course.
Forty-one (41) match officials; made up of 22 Referees and 19 Assistant Referees took part including a trio from Qatar, as part of the Cooperative Agreement between CAF and the Qatar Football Association.
