The Club Licensing seminar has made a stopover in Djibouti with the East African country hosting the educative workshop from 25-26 April at the Technical Centre of the Fédération Djiboutienne de Football (FDF) in the capital, Djibouti.
Twenty-four (24) officials representing the country’s elite clubs which participate in the top flight FDF Division One participated in the two-day seminar which will tackle topics aimed at highlighting professionalism in club football.

“This seminar is a project of CAF which is aimed at professionalizing our football and it lays a solid foundation for the promotion of the game. It is in line with the club restructuring policy launched by the FDF three years ago,” said FDF president Souleiman Hassan Waberi.
“This system is aimed at improving the football clubs by setting minimum standards in key areas such as administration, finance, infrastructure and development of youth football” Waberi added.
Instructors for the seminar include Saidou Diou Maigo (Niger) – Infrastructure, Mohamed Zouita (Tunisia) - Sporting and Mr Jeremie Manirakiza (Burundi) - Administrative, Finance and Legal.
