
The tournament became the first hosted at the Siaka Steven Stadium since the ban on all football related activities was implemented a year ago by the government and the Isha Johansen led Sierra Leone Football Association executive.
Over 30 teams from the premier league, first and second division took part in the three days tournament which was dubbed as the ‘President Koroma Kick-Ebola out of Sierra Leone trophy’.
The second match saw Real Mack defeated Stationary Stars by the same score-line on post-match penalties after another goalless draw but B. Strikers secured a 10- win over Oaks FC.
The third match of the day saw Mount Aureol SLIFA secure a 3-2 win from a penalty shootout whilst Ports Authority, Brookfields United and Mighty Blackpool all registered a 1-0 win over Anti-Drugs FC, Man. City FC and Old Edwardians FC respectively.
