8 December, 2015 – Day 2 of the annual Sasol League National Championship proved to be a cracker with seven goals scored in the first two fixtures of the day.
Als Puk Tawana (North West) walloped Galeshewe Ladies FC (Northern Cape) 6-0 in a one-sided affair.
In the other match, defending champions Cape Town Roses FC (Western Cape) cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over tournament hosts, Free State’s Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies.

It was the Cape Town-based outfit who came out stronger of the two teams in the first half, scoring through Sisanda Vukapi and Lelona Daweti as they qualified for the knockout stage of the tournament.
