
According to Chiefs’ official website, the goalkeeper has expressed his excitement of being chosen in the starting line-up by the fans.
“I feel great to be part of the team. I would like to thank the supporters,” said Khuzwayo.
“It is a privilege to be part of this big occasion, let alone playing for this colossal club.”
Khuzwayo made 20 appearances in both the Absa Premiership and Cup matches last season.
“We are ready as a team. And so far, we gel well with the new players and coaching staff,” Khuzwayo refers to the new coach Steve Komphela and assistant goalkeeper coach, Brian Baloyi.
“It is a matter of one game at a time.”
The derby match on Saturday, is the 5th Carling Black Label and Chiefs have won the tie once compared to Orlando Pirates winning it on three occasions.

Orlando Pirates XI: Brighton Mhlongo, Happy Jele, Tshepo Gumede, Siyabonga Sangweni, Patrick Phungwayo, Sifiso Myeni, Issa Sarr, Oupa Manyisa, Thabo Rakhale, Kermit Erasmus, Lehlohonolo Majoro.
The match will kick-off at 15:00.
