Sadate Ouro-Akoriko has completed a switch from AmaZulu to Saudi Arabia.
The defender has been eyeing a move away from the KZN outfit, since the team’s relegation to the National First Division at the end of the 2014/15 season.
It was recently revealed by the Siya crew that the Togolese has been eyeing an overseas move and that the KZN side has been open to his release for a right offer.
“AmaZulu’s Togo international defender Sadate Ouro-Akoriko has found greener pastures and on Friday he flew to Saudi Arabia to join Al Faisaly FC in the Saudi Professional League,” AmaZulu revealed on the club’s official website.
AmaZulu’s general manager, Peter O’Connor, confirmed that the former Free State Stars players has parted ways with the Durban-based side.
“We have always known that we might be losing the player even sooner because by the end of July everything was almost done, but there were just some delays.
“We are proud and happy for him and he played a crucial role in our team. The transfer has been made and it is just a matter of some medicals,” O’Connor told amazulufc.net.
