The continent’s topmost ranked team has dominated Group J where they have 10 points, five ahead of second placed Ethiopia, and six more than hosts Seychelles, and are highly favoured to snatch the group’s automatic ticket to next year’s finals from the Day Five fixture.
The 42-year old Neghiz was an Assistant to Gourcuff and his job will be to lead the team to victory in this away fixture which will secure them their ticket to Gabon.
Neghiz met up with his players for a week’s training at the Algeria Football Federation (FAF) Technical Centre in Sidi Moussa before travelling to Seychelles.
